Join us for the fifth annual KC Cares for Kids Walk to celebrate advances in pediatric cancer research at Children’s Mercy in Kansas City. Supporting the Children’s Mercy Cancer Center Auxiliary, this special event raises awareness and funds for local cancer and blood disorder patients. Help make a difference in the lives of children treated at your local hospital!
This family-friendly event welcomes more than 1,000 current and former patients, families, friends and community supporters to Children’s Mercy Park, home of the Sporting KC soccer club, for an outdoor festival that features: games, activities, crafts and more for participants of all ages as well as a one-mile walk around the stadium and a special ceremony that honors all the patients who are currently battled or have battled cancer and blood disorders in our community.
Since its inception, KC Cares for Kids has raised more than $400,000 for the Children’s Mercy Cancer Center Auxiliary.
